Our Mission at Calvary Presbyterian

At Calvary Presbyterian Church the people of God journey through life with Jesus Christ and are empowered by the Holy Spirit. We are a welcoming church. Our church is a gracious family of loving people who have a passion for Jesus Christ. We humbly desire to worship God, and to serve one another as well as those in need. We aspire to spread the Good News of the Gospel within and beyond our community through fellowship, programs, and mission, supported by our time, talents & treasures with Jesus Christ as our example. We are servants of God and one another. We believe that the Word of God inspires us. We desire to grow, and to take on more responsibilities to ensure the spiritual development of individuals within our congregation, community, and the world, for the glory of God. Our creed is grounded in Scripture from which the Holy Spirit guides our thinking: “If you love me, you will keep my commandments.” (John 14:15) “The Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, will teach you everything, and remind you of all that I have said to you.” (John 14:25–27) “What does the Lord require of you but to do justice, and to love kindness, and to walk humbly with your God?” (Micah 6:8)
